WISH20

Wish20 is a global citizens initiative that maps the growing support for the law of Ecocide and gives world leaders the mandate to make it an international crime.

WISH20 MAP

The Wish20 Map is a visual representation of where our supporters are around the world and what their wishes for 2020 are.  If you are from Europe please also sign the European Citizen’s Initiative to End Ecocide.

SIGNING AND MAPPING YOUR WISH20

Wish20 can be signed through the box on the left above where you can leave your name and email details.
After clicking on the ‘sign’ button, a new picture will appear prompting you to enter your location and what your wish for 2020 is and that’s it you will then feature on the Wish20 Map.

If you prefer to leave more info or map an event, media coverage or map yourself in a category other than ‘individual’, which is our default setting when signing, you can go directly to our Wish20 Map and map yourself there under the tab ‘Sign Wish20’.

You can choose to map yourself as an:

• Individual supporter
• Organisation
• Event
• Media
• Youth focal point
• Point of contact if you would like to be a representative for the local groups

If signing directly on the Map you can enter more details about yourself or your organisation or event/media publication like title, picture, url links and tell us what are you doing to support Wish20.

The WISH20 Map Tabs

When you visit the WISH20 Map you will see a number of tabs wich you can click through.  Here is a brief explanation of what they are for.

HOME

Here you can get the ‘big picture’ where are the people who have signed up so far located.

REPORTS

Here you can see dates and any comments that may have been left.  The same details can be obtained if you are on the Home pageby clicking on a cluster in the area of the world that interests you which will then list all the entries for that particular area.

ALERTS

If you’d like to be informed when people in your chosen area have signed up, you can set up email alerts by clicking on the above tab

WISH20 WIDGET

If you would like to help spread the word about our Wish20 initiative, you can download a widget for your website under the Wish20 Widget tab

Feature in the WISH20 Video

Be part of an inspiring short video clip that will change the world! We’d love to see you in any video format showing your support for WISH20. Use your imagination – a WISH20 banner at a demonstration? A community shout out for WISH20? Interesting locations? We would appreciate you trying a shot at filming yourself saying the following lines: “As global citizens we stand together united; one world, one wish. Together, we can end all ecocides by 2020. Together, we can make our wish come true. To make this wish comes true needs one law: a law of Ecocide. Help us put in place the law that will end the era of Ecocide. Sign and share Wish20 now.” Feel free to speak in your own language too and remember to include your name and country at the start of the clip. Email us your video clip.

We’ve poisoned our land and we’ve blackened our soil
Paved the way for disaster with tarmac and oil

We can no longer live without thought to our fate
And it’s time to act now before it’s too late

Wrap them in dreams, send them into the air
Because it’s clear in our atmosphere, it’s time to repair
